FNMA 4.5% note is UP 25 bps so the rates in the 5.25% range from today could get a little better depending on tomorrow's news.
Goldman Sachs made some pretty bold statements today indicating that the S&P will make an 11.4% gain by the end of the year...and the markets reacted positively. The S&P broke above a ceiling of resistance (944) today to close at 951.
The Dow was up 106 points...
Oil is just under 64 bucks/barrel at the bell and was up this morning on a weakening dollar. (Remember that as the dollar weakens: the price of commodities like oil, wheat and gold get more "expensive" since it takes more "US dollars" to buy the same units...barrel, bushel or ounce.)
Have a great Monday Eve!
