Tuesday September 22, 2009

Hey there!

FNMA 4.5% was UP 12 bps to $100.59 keeping the rates in the 5.25% range still on the 30 year fixed.

Dow closed UP 51 points and at a HIGH for 2009 getting close to 10,000 points again. Remember March when we were in the 6500 points range?

The auction today got a "B" rating and that is BETTER than most expected. The good news: the other auctions this week (another 67 BILLION worth) will hopefully be received well.
It was quiet this morning as investors waited for the results of this auction.

Dollar weakened today after a few days of strength and naturally commodities reacted. Oil was up over $70 dollars almost immediately this morning and gold is still floating WAY up there. Note on gold: you can't eat it.

I had some REALLY important and deep conversations with some of you today and was able to connect with many people. I hope to get out tomorrow for more face time with you. Thanks for your support and have a great eve,

Chad
