Important Upgrade Announcement

Quick Market Info: FNMA 3.5% bond is UP 53 basis points on the day trading at $100.81.  Rates are still as low as they ever have been.

Interestingly, I spent a considerable amount of time with the journalist and she boiled our conversations down to put out some random quotes from me that don't seem to make sense when taken out of context.  

"Drinking the Kool-aid" referred to the media push for several years that helped everyone feel like if they didn't own a home, they were worth less than others. .  I don't agree with that mindset at all.  Buying a home is not for everyone.  

When I mentioned the "price of gasoline" analogy I was saying that though rates may be the same, it DOES matter who you do business with in this market.  This is no market to qualify professionals to work with by whether or not they are your brother-in-law's best friend's wife.  Professionals who are "in it to win it" are golden right now.

I am super excited to relay an important development in my mortgage lending business.  For those of you who have loans in process with me, you may have recently experienced the effects of this change.

I am very proud to announce my partnership with Debra Gebhart!  She is a brilliant loan officer with over 20 years of experience in the mortgage business. 

She is teaming up with me in my business to help provide a seamless service experience to my clients.  Debra's focus will be on the process of providing a platinum lending experience.  She will effectively communicate with our clients and partners keeping them updated on loan status, fielding questions on existing loans and putting loan files through the lending process.  She will work to coordinate the transaction and help orchestrate all parties involved to consistently deliver a great loan product to our borrowers.  I am counting on Debra to add the "engineer" to the artistry of my business.

Meanwhile, I will be more focused on the marketing and mortgage consulting aspect of our business together.  It is up to me to ensure that clients get the immediate sense of our professionalism, our confidence in our brand and the ability we have to navigate them smoothly through the loan process.  I am also putting my effort into ensuring that each borrower gets the time and effort in consultation to help them understand what the custom tailored options are for them as it pertains to home finance.

Both Debra and I work to enrich your relationships with your clients by providing great service as an extension of your business and relating our praise for you through the process.
